Sylvania's four-head Hi-Fi VCR is a stereo VCR, featuring MTS (Multichannel Television Sound), VHS recording and playback, 8-event programmable recording timer with one-touch timer recording, and onscreen menu display. This VCR's four head design results in greater picture quality than VCRs with just two heads, and its automatic head cleaners remove dirt and contaminants every time you insert or remove a cassette, particularly beneficial if you view rented movies.The 6260VF lets you freeze frame, view in slow motion, and advance frame by frame, and gives you two search speeds (5x and 15x) when viewing tapes recorded in SLP (super long play) mode. Digital tracking lets you search for a specific point on the tape either by time or index, with a real-time onscreen counter. The VCR is capable of playing an SAP (secondary audio program) track with compatible bilingual/simulcast broadcasts or recordings, and its onscreen menus can be displayed in different languages. Its 181-channel, direct-access tuner can accommodate up to 125 cable channels and offers the convenience of automatic channel programming. This VCR also features front panel stereo A/V inputs so game consoles or digital cameras can be easily connected. RF, composite-video, and stereo audio inputs and outputs are also located on the rear.

I originally received a defective vcr so i sent it back to discount jungle and they sent me back a vcr that works fine now.
Received product on time and it worked as intended for old VHS cassettetapes we've had for many years.
I purchased this VCR along with the Star Tech USB Grab Bee Video Capture Cable through Amazon.com. I recommend this VCR as an economical way to enjoy VHS tapes. This allows a computer user to watch pre-recorded video over their computer or make video files. This is a Hi-Fi Stereo VCR.It is very good quality.The seller, Discount Jungle, was very efficient. This product was just what I wanted. VCR only, not DVD. It works well, came even before promised. I would recommend it for anyone who just wants a VCR.
Delivery time seemed a little long and the seller included an S-video cable and the unit didn't have an S-video jack, but otherwise I got what I expected - nothing more, nothing less.
